And we're finally up!

It turns out, starting a new restaurant, and being in med school are very time consuming. So much so that we didnt really get much work done on the site till a few weeks ago when Brian came down to visit the island.

But now ready!

bscomics.com is fully operational, and we've put up the first few comics. Expect updates every Monday and Thursday, with occasional updates in between. I'll post a little blurb here when we put something up.

Soooo

So, it turns out, if I hadn't tried to fix bscomics.com myself, and just waited for a couple more days (yeah, like 2 weeks), the host would have fixed it themselves, which is why thelunchhouse.com works again. Go figure. Procrastination wins again!

Amusing observations

It's been a while since I updated. Anywhere. Why?

Well, see, I opened a restaurant a few weeks ago! The Lunch House is now open for business! We have our menu online, just in case anyone is interested =D
The website was down for a little while, but we're up again, even though google refuses to recognize it.

bscomics.com is a whole 'nother story. We technically completed everything we wanted to do, but surprisingly (to us), owning businesses and being in med school is unexpectedly time consuming. As a result, we're keeping the site down until further notice.

Well us and the craptastic Box 16 on the otherwise pleasant 110MB host. We just can't be bothered to set up a new host just yet.

p.s. On a funny note, according to google webmaster tools, this blog is #29 if you search "my girlfriend webcam".

p.p.s. I saw Fast and Furious. Very fast, very furious. Go see it.

Another not so comic-related post

I still have no internet. It's really making it hard to do new comics and things.

Sooo, the restaurant is almost done. I got in almost all the equipment this week, and we've been doing a lot of work on finishing that. I finished 6 cubist paintings to decorate the place today. Waiting on furniture but not much I can do about it except wait. Here's a couple of pictures from a few days ago, I'll put them on thelunchhouse.com eventually.

We're almost ready to open the full comics site. I've slowed down on drawing though, because I'm also super busy with trying to open the restaurant soon, but we'll get there.

Hooray!

Well, good news! My restaurant now has an official name!

The Lunch House (www.thelunchhouse.com)

The website isn't up as of this moment, because of DNS propagation (it strikes again!), but it should be up super soon. For now, you can see it directly at the host if you want.

In other, more relevant news, we got some good comics done this weekend! Our art had improved somewhat over the last couple of months, and things are pretty consistent looking now.

Back to drawing

After a bit of a hiatus, I'm back to drawing! Did a new comic today, and revised an old one.

I just realized I never put up the banner for the site... anywhere. So, here!

Things are coming along. I got my official business name for my restaurant today; I'm going to buy the domain name for the website for that tomorrow, so I'll talk more about it then.

Bwahahahaha.

I also learned today that I'm not very nice. Maybe I should try to be less angry-looking.

An update... maybe

Is it fair to say this is an update? Seeing as it's the first post on a new blog, it's semi-controversial for me.

I decided to start writing here because hosting the blog at bscomics.com was beginning to be a kind of a pain in the butt. Admittedly, this is mostly due to my lack of programming finesse. Perhaps someday, when I have more time to devote to the website I'll find motivation to work on that.

Anyway, we purchased the domain for the new website, and set up a teaser/placeholder page. And then switched hosts, a couple of times (we're now at 110mb.com , and it seems to be pretty cool so far). It turns out DNS propagation takes... a while. For those of us who thought things happened on the internet immediately, or at least quickly, it was a shock.

Brian doesnt really like my choice of colour schemes, so we're going to be doing a major overhaul before we launch next year. We want to have quite a few comics on hand before we start really posting, so we never have any time where we dont have a comic because we were too busy.

Thanks again for all the support so far!
