Another not so comic-related post

I still have no internet. It's really making it hard to do new comics and things.

Sooo, the restaurant is almost done. I got in almost all the equipment this week, and we've been doing a lot of work on finishing that. I finished 6 cubist paintings to decorate the place today. Waiting on furniture but not much I can do about it except wait. Here's a couple of pictures from a few days ago, I'll put them on thelunchhouse.com eventually.

We're almost ready to open the full comics site. I've slowed down on drawing though, because I'm also super busy with trying to open the restaurant soon, but we'll get there.

OMG, it's back

The internettubes... they're reconnected at my house. Sorry I may sound kind of meh, but I'm kind of in a meh mood.

We got some good comics done even when I was offline, so things are still going well in that department. I still miss Christy a lot, so that department is right where it was, except we're a little closer to when we can be together again.

Restaurant is coming along: it's nicely painted, and I'm getting equipment and things in, and sourcing potential employees. Oh, and I decided to take a real commercial cooking course, starting February.

Here's those videos I promised. Enjoy some time lapse goodness (x3) from my window!

Not what I promised

Well, I didn't get internet back yet, kind of. I have this wireless 3G card that is metered, but I couldn't wait anymore to update, so here I am! I managed to get some good comics done over the last couple of days in between doing restaurant stuff. That's coming along nicely, albeit stressfully-ish.

Also I made a couple new bean sprouter prototypes that are working like magic. Mnnn, bean sprouts. Still producing less than I care to eat... for now.

I saw the Hitman movie today on HBO. While it certainly appealed to my action film strings, it's nothing like how I had hoped it would be when I first heard of it. I was hoping to almost never actually see him in the movie. Just see glimpses of him from the viewpoint of an investigation, and then at the end, maybe have the investigator see him from the back as he's leaving a scene.

They really ought to have cast David Bateson as 47, if not Jason Statham.

There was some nudity though (Olga Kurylenko, who was in James Bond: Quantum of Solace), so all was not lost. I am male after all.

GAHHHHHH

Gahhhh!

I have no internet again! It's kind of a downside of living in a 3rd world country I guess.

I'll have some kind of mega update including some videos or drawings or something, promise ;)
